1. Overview

Meddenn Music (the “Bot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a free Discord music bot created for personal use and sharing with friends. The Bot does not require an account, subscription, or payment, and it does not maintain a database of user profiles or listening histories.

2. Information processed temporarily

To respond to a request and connect to a voice channel, the Bot may temporarily process:

• The song name, search query, or music link submitted in a command;
• Discord identifiers for the user, server, channel, and interaction;
• Voice-channel connection information needed to join and play audio; and
• The active playback queue and basic command context.

This information is used only to perform the requested command, manage the active playback session, maintain basic security, and troubleshoot immediate technical problems.

3. What we do not collect or store

Meddenn Music does not intentionally:

• Store listening history, saved playlists, favorites, or personal profiles;
• Collect payment information or sell subscriptions;
• Read or retain private messages or unrelated server conversations;
• Use tracking cookies, advertising profiles, or behavioral analytics; or
• Sell, rent, or trade personal information.

4. Retention

Playback and command information is kept in temporary memory only for as long as it is needed for the active request or queue. It is normally discarded when playback ends, the Bot leaves the voice channel, the relevant session expires, or the Bot restarts. We do not keep a permanent user-data database.

5. Discord and music services

The Bot operates through Discord and may request music search results, track metadata, or playable content associated with YouTube, Spotify, and SoundCloud. A submitted search term or link may therefore be processed to locate the requested track. We do not intentionally provide your Discord profile or Discord user ID to those music services.

Discord, YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, and any infrastructure provider process information under their own privacy policies and terms. We do not control their independent practices.

6. Website information

This informational website does not provide user accounts and does not intentionally use advertising or analytics cookies. As with most websites, the hosting and security provider may temporarily process limited technical information, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp, to deliver the site and prevent abuse.

7. Data requests and deletion

Because the Bot does not maintain a permanent user-data database, there will normally be no stored personal data to delete. You may still request access, correction, deletion, or confirmation by emailing contact.meddenn@gmail.com. Include your Discord user ID and, if relevant, the server ID so we can evaluate the request. We may ask for reasonable verification before responding.

8. Children’s privacy

Meddenn Music is not directed to children who are below the minimum age required to use Discord in their country. Users must satisfy Discord’s own age requirements and terms.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited, temporary information the Bot processes. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the Bot’s functionality or legal obligations change. The new version will be posted here with an updated effective date. If Meddenn Music begins storing user information or adds accounts, premium features, or analytics, this policy will be updated before those changes are made available.
