1. Acceptance
By inviting, accessing, or using Meddenn Music (the “Bot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot. Your use of Discord and third-party music services is also subject to their respective terms and policies.
2. The service
Meddenn Music is a free bot that allows users to submit a song name or supported link and request audio playback in a Discord voice channel. The Bot may interact with content or metadata associated with YouTube, Spotify, and SoundCloud. Features, supported sources, commands, and availability may change over time.
3. Eligibility and authority
You must be permitted to use Discord under Discord’s terms. If you invite or configure the Bot in a server, you represent that you have permission to do so and to grant the Discord permissions requested by the Bot. Server administrators remain responsible for managing access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Meddenn Music to:
- Violate any law, regulation, intellectual-property right, or third-party term;
- Harass others, disrupt a server, spam commands, or abuse the service;
- Attempt to bypass access controls, probe security, or interfere with the Bot’s operation;
- Use automated methods to create excessive requests or overload the service; or
- Misrepresent your relationship with Meddenn Music or use the Bot for unlawful activity.
5. Music and third-party content
Meddenn Music does not own or grant rights to music, recordings, artwork, metadata, or other content made available through third-party services. You are responsible for ensuring that your requests and use of content are lawful and comply with the rules of Discord and the relevant music service. Content may become unavailable without notice.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains the limited information temporarily processed to execute commands and play music. Meddenn Music does not maintain user profiles or permanent listening histories.
7. Availability and changes
The Bot is provided as a personal, free project. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, specific features, audio quality, compatibility, or continued availability. We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Bot at any time, including for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or third-party service changes.
8. Enforcement and termination
We may restrict or terminate access to Meddenn Music for conduct that violates these terms, harms users or servers, threatens the service, or creates legal or security risk. Server administrators may remove the Bot from their servers at any time.
9. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meddenn Music is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Bot will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Meddenn Music and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of access, service interruption, or issues caused by Discord or third-party music services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Updates to these terms
We may update these terms when the service, third-party requirements, or applicable laws change. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
